Job Description Within the organizational structure of radiology performs ultrasound exams to assist in direct patient care. New hire will have 90 days from start to obtain Reg Vascular Technologist - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography. In Convenient Care/Imaging Center setting, may also assist other modalities and perform other duties as assigned. Provides technical and procedural support to Interventional Radiologists during ultrasound-guided procedures. This position is responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound imaging to facilitate safe and accurate needle placement, preparing sterile equipment and biopsy trays, assisting with specimen handling, and collaborating closely with physicians and nursing staff to ensure efficient patient care throughout the procedural process. Procedures including, but not limited to: Renal (kidney) biopsies, Liver biopsies, Lymph node biopsies, Paracentesis, Thoracentesis, and other ultrasound-guided aspirations and biopsies as assigned.
