Position Title: Adjunct, Management Time Type: Part time Position Summary and Qualifications: Saint Joseph's University's Department of Management has an ongoing need for highly qualified adjunct faculty to staff a variety of courses each semester. We are looking for the support of highly qualified, capable, and experienced adjunct instructors. This positions are for in-person teaching at our main campus on Hawk Hill. The courses would be at the undergraduate level. - Saint Joseph's University (SJU) offers a wide variety of bachelor's, master's, doctoral, associate and certifi cate programs. With a commitment to personalized attention through a low faculty to student ratio, SJU may call on the expertise of adjunct instructors to complement the work of full-time faculty across all of its colleges and schools. SJU appoints part-time, non-tenure track adjunct instructors on a semester-to-semester basis with no guarantee of consecutive appointments. Re-appointment is based on university need, student enrollment, and satisfactory performance. Applicants for these positions are screened on an as-needed basis throughout the academic year. Teaching responsibilities are assigned by the department chair. Compensation for adjunct instructors is commensurate with educational credentials, professional, experience and instructional background. Adjunct instructors are bound to the terms and conditions of employment at Saint Joseph's University, including but not limited to the Faculty Handbook. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Provide support and guidance to students Instruct an assigned course providing syllabi and other instructional materials Use of university learning management systems to deliver instruction In addition to meeting all scheduled class session, adjunct faculty are expected to offer one hour of office hours each week. For the 2026-27 academic year, we have specific needs in these areas: Organizational Behavior/Human Resources Business Ethics Workplace Diversity Part-time adjunct faculty may instruct 1 or 2 courses each semester on an "as needed" basis. Again, these would be in-person classes serving our undergraduate students.
