Truck Driver

Responsibilities

• Plan and map driving routes ahead of time to determine the most expedient trips
• Pick up clients from requested locations and at scheduled times collect and deliver.
• Collect payments and issue receipts accurately to clients
• Assist clients with loading and unloading Company Materials or packages safely to Work Place and Come Office to report also.
• Monitor traffic and weather reports to stay informed on road conditions
• Adjust driving routes proactively to avoid heavy traffic and road construction delays
• Provide clients with accurate information about the area and local points of interest
• Maintain clean and comfortable car seats for all riders before each trip
• Schedule regular car service appointments and report any vehicle issues promptly
• Arrange car wash and detailing services to keep the vehicle's interior and exterior clean
• Required competencies and certifications
• Hold a valid Class 4 driver's license
• Maintain a clean driving record
• Demonstrate proven experience as a driver
• Possess minimum visual acuity
• Preferred competencies and qualifications
• Familiarity with GPS devices for navigation
• Knowledge of local area roads and neighborhoods
• Ability to lift heavy packages and luggage safely
• Availability to work occasional weekend and night shifts
• Exhibit a polite and professional disposition
• Ability to remain calm and focused in stressful driving situations such as rush hour
