Responsibilities

  • Lead an AI-powered reimagining of end-to-end product value creation at BlackRock (including product innovation, product development, and product commercialization to clients) to enhance capacity, speed to market, and commercial success

  • Oversee a team of approximately 20 technology strategists and data engineers spread across San Francisco, New York, London, and Budapest
  • Your Experience:
  • 10+ years of work experience, experience in wealth management or investment management preferred
  • Demonstrated experience developing an AI and data strategy within a complex and nuanced global organization
  • Ability to clearly articulate objectives and influence outcomes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in business process analysis, design, and implementation
  • Ambitious and proactive - able to show initiative and come up with ideas without prompting
  • Technical aptitude, understanding technology in a business context
  • Experience working with distribution teams across multiple functions
  • Sense of curiosity and the courage to ask tough questions
  • Bachelor's Degree

About this role BlackRock's Global Product Solutions (GPS) group partners across the firm to lead the iShares business and drive the commercial priorities spanning all of BlackRock's investment capabilities. This encompasses innovating new products, curating the product platform, commercializing products at scale, and developing actionable market and portfolio insights. The Head of AI and Data Transformation will be responsible for leading strategy and oversight of GPS's AI and data efforts. In this role, you will work as a horizontal leader, driving outcomes with partners across functions and the firm to optimally deploy BlackRock's AI and data resources to enhance BlackRock's entire product platform.
