About the role

In this role, you will serve as a Specialist, Marketing General for the Consumer Audio business, contributing to the development and execution of mid- to long-term marketing communications strategies to support business growth in the Japan market. Responsibilities
- Develop and execute digital-first marketing communications strategies for the Consumer Audio portfolio in Japan, with a strong emphasis on brand storytelling, product positioning, and culturally relevant content creation
- Plan and implement digital marketing initiatives in Japan, including creative development and advertising execution in collaboration with external agencies, management of owned media (including social media), influencer marketing, and marketing events
- Contribute to the successful launch of new products by executing social-centric digital marketing activities aligned with GTM plans defined by the Japan Product Marketing team, including teaser campaigns, launch day activations, and sustained post-launch community engagement
- Lead the creation and curation of compelling visual and written content for social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, and emerging channels), ensuring alignment with JBL's global brand identity while resonating with local Japanese youth culture and lifestyle trends
- Own the social media content calendar and community management, driving engagement, follower growth, and brand affinity through platform-native formats including short-form video, UGC campaigns, and interactive storytelling
- Collaborate with Shopper Experience and Product Media Relations teams to enhance a seamless customer journey across all touchpoints, ensuring social content bridges awareness and conversion
- Collaborate with global marketing and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective execution; serve as the local voice and cultural gatekeeper for JBL, Harman Kardon, AKG or other Harman-owned brands expression in Japan
- Translate global product positioning into locally resonant messaging and creative concepts that differentiate JBL within Japan's competitive audio and lifestyle landscape
- Monitor and evaluate campaign performance and social media metrics (engagement rate, share of voice, sentiment, content efficiency), and identify opportunities to continuously optimize activities to improve effectiveness and efficiency

- Proven experience in marketing communications, with a strong focus on digital marketing
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns
- Demonstrated experience in influencer marketing and partnership management, including the ability to build and manage relationships with external creators, media, and strategic partners
