Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute complex monthly closing activities, including reconciliations and postings
• Independently resolve accounting issues and closing tasks within assigned areas such as Fixed Assets, Bank, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger
• Prepare and deliver supporting documentation for internal and external audit requests
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies across R2R processes
• Create, maintain, and regularly update R2R process documentation, including SOPs and work instructions
• Actively participate in process optimization initiatives and ensure process standardization across all entities in scope
• Identify and suggest automation opportunities using RPA, ERP optimizations, and Excel or BI solutions

• At least 3 years of experience in accounting or Record to Report roles
• Hands-on experience with monthly close, reconciliations, and general ledger activities
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards and internal control requirements
• Experience working with ERP systems and ensuring data accuracy and completeness
• Ability to work independently on complex accounting topics and closing issues
• Comfortable onboarding and mentoring junior team members
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written
• Nice-to-have qualifications
• Experience with process automation initiatives such as RPA or advanced Excel or BI solutions
• Exposure to audit support activities and interaction with auditors

What this role is all about In this role, you will take ownership of complex accounting topics and help drive process excellence across the Record to Report (R2R) scope. You will work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting while supporting audits and continuous process improvement. You will also play an important role in mentoring junior team members and contributing to a stable, well-documented R2R environment.
