About the role

Advertised Position Title: Manager, Course Inventory and Compliance Job Description: Essential Functions: Maintains and oversees the institution's official course inventory and curriculum database to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with institutional policies. Creates/Maintains Programs in Student Information System. Maintains historical curriculum records and documentation in accordance with records retention policies. Review curriculum proposals for completeness, policy alignment, and data integrity before approval workflows. Also serves as a backup for the online catalog updates. Processes all system checkers and reports as related to the areas of course inventory and class schedule, including cancelled class processing. Processes forms for: residency petitions, special withdrawal petitions, academic forgiveness petitions and re-admittance forms. Coordinates with Chairs and Deans of the College to ensure accurate class schedule for registration. This includes the schedule roll and necessary adjustments. Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve discrepancies in curriculum and course data. Ensures course coding, numbering, prerequisites, tags, credit hours, and learning modality designations are accurately reflected in student information system. Coordinates the creation, modification, inactivation, and archival of course records across academic departments. Serve as primary functional administrator for curriculum management and course inventory systems. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of higher education curriculum processes, academic governance, and catalog management. Experience working with student information systems and curriculum management software. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to interpret academic policy and regulatory requirements. Advanced attention to detail and data accuracy. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, staff, and administrators. Proficiency with spreadsheet, database, and reporting tools. Minimum Requirements: Associates degree Minimum of 3 years of experience in Records Office/Student Services.
