Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of the design and development of electrical systems and components for complex engineering projects
  • Produce and review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and associated technical documentation using tools such as EPLAN and Teamcenter
  • Ensure designs meet all applicable industry standards, safety regulations, and compliance requirements
  • Oversee system integration, verification, and validation activities to ensure performance and reliability targets are met

  • Required Skills:
  • Proven experience in a senior electrical engineering or design role within complex or regulated industries
  • Strong knowledge of electrical design tools such as EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, or similar , and familiarity with PLM systems such as Teamcenter
  • Experience designing power distribution systems, control systems, and embedded electrical systems
  • Solid understanding of relevant engineering standards (e.g. IEC, BS, IEEE )
  • Ability to lead technical reviews and make critical engineering decisions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills , with experience identifying and resolving design issues
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Required Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering , or equivalent military experience .
  • Desirable Skills:
  • Experience within defence, maritime, aerospace, or other safety-critical environments
  • Background in system integration within multidisciplinary engineering teams
  • Exposure to full product lifecycle development , from concept through to delivery
