Management and Program Analyst

About the role

This position is located with Bonneville Power Administration in Business Operations (TAB) and Strategy & Business Management (TAS), Transmission Chief of Staff (TA), Transmission Services (T), Bonneville Power Administration (BPA). A successful candidate in the Management and Program Analyst position will serve as an analyst and project manager responsible for planning, organizing, and managing projects and initiatives to assess and promote program efficiency. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS A qualified candidate's resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as: Providing data assessment to leadership across Transmission, effective communication of project status and budget review that will contribute to determining the effectiveness of activities and operations as they relate to long-range planning and performing a variety of administrative tasks to support management including schedule coordination and time management. "Experience" refers to paid and unpaid experience. Examples of qualifying unpaid experience may include: volunteer work done through National Service programs (such as Peace Corps and AmeriCorps); as well as work for other community-based philanthropic and social organizations. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills; and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
