Responsibilities
- Over the course of the 24-month Program (time to completion will be closer to 30 months providing you time for vacation, study, and the CPA Professional Readiness Module), you will follow a work plan that will ensure you meet the Experience Requirements for your Professional Work Experience.
- The Program has been designed so you'll complete the CPA Professional Program requirements and make progress toward earning your CPA designation:
- Throughout the Program, you will build knowledge of our clients and business, emerging opportunities and threats to the banking industry, and changing external regulations and accounting requirements, with an opportunity to add value to CIBC.

- Eligibility and Application Requirements:
- You are graduating in Spring 2027 with an undergraduate degree
- You must be registered with CPA Ontario and have met the CPA Ontario admission requirements including:
- A recognized degree or equivalent
- At least 120 credit hours (or equivalent)
- A minimum GPA that meets CPAO's requirements across those 120 credit hours
- Successful completion of the Knowledge Assessment or CPA Qualifying Courses (7 required and 8 additional business courses)
- You must successfully complete a graduate program with an Accredited PSI, such that you are eligible to write the Professional Final Examination (Part 1 - Core and Part 2 - Leadership) in September 2027.
- You have a strong academic record, with a GPA of at least 70%
