[What the role is] The Funds Team in MAS' Asset Management and Funds Division seeks to sustainably grow Singapore's asset management industry, and to enhance Singapore's value proposition as a global funds centre for the co-location of fund management and fund domiciliation activities. The team monitors global trends and developments in the asset management industry and funds ecosystem to tap areas of growth in the sector. This includes: - Enhancing investment fund structures that are available in Singapore such as the trusts, limited partnerships and the Singapore Variable Capital Company (VCC) vehicle; - Conceptualising and driving industry development projects, and - Efforts to modernise and digitalise the funds ecosystem. [What you will be working on] For this role, you will be responsible for the administration of MAS' grants and tax incentives for funds, while also contributing to the implementation and refinement of the portal system currently under development. You will be in frequent contact with industry players to review tax incentive and grant applications, evaluate KPIs and handle exceptions. You are expected to have good written communication and analytical skills. Prior experience in supporting the development of new technology systems or experience within the asset management industry is not required but will be an advantage.
