Responsibilities
- Local Driving
- No Touch Freight
- Fill out trailer log
- Spot carrier trailers and Berry trailers as requested
- Spot LTL trailers as requested
- Fuel trucks as needed
- Keep truck in safe working order
- Work with Receiving when requested
- Fill out D.O.T. inspection sheet
- Take and score highly on all yearly HR required MyDevelopment courses, and any other courses that are deemed necessary
- Lot check information as needed
- Understands and will adhere to all ISO & SQF guidelines and policies
- AUTHORITIES
- Take loaded trailers to outside warehouse
- Take empty trailers from outside warehouses to main plant
- Take trailers from docks as requested
- Must record movements using the ToughBook and the Shuttle Tote Board
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Class A CDL required
- Requires sitting, standing and climbing
- Must be able to drive truck in safe and professional manner
- Ability to work in extremes of heat/cold
- Verbal communications adequate to use a radio and or paging system to contact other co-workers in other areas of the complex
