About the role
Join Shift Collab - Bring Accessible Therapy to Clients Across Canada At Shift Collab , we're a women-led, award-winning collective of over 100 Registered Social Workers and Registered Psychotherapists reshaping virtual mental health care across Canada. For the past 8 years, we've partnered with Maple, Canada's premier virtual care platform, to offer true on-demand and scheduled therapy delivered from the comfort of home. We are expanding our network with bilingual therapists who can provide psychotherapy in both English and French. This is an independent contractor role requiring flexible, week-to-week availability. On-demand support means being available for clients needing care in the moment, between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. EST, seven days a week - on-demand availability is a meaningful part of this role. Our Hiring Philosophy Our organization is deeply committed to equity and diversity. We wholeheartedly welcome applications from women, members of racialized groups, visible minorities, Aboriginal persons, persons with disabilities, persons of any sexual orientation, and persons of any gender identity or gender expression. We are also committed to ensuring that each individual will have genuine, open, and unhindered access to opportunities within our company. Accommodations are available for applicants with disabilities. If you require accommodations for interviews or other meetings, please let us know. What This Role Actually Looks Like Through the Maple platform, you'll deliver two types of sessions each week, for a total of 12 hours of availability: On-Demand Sessions: Pick up sessions between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. EST, seven days a week, for up to 6 hours per week based on demand. Clients connect with you when they need support and you show up ready. Scheduled Sessions: Allocate 6 hours per week in the Maple calendar so clients can book directly through the app at a day and time that works for them. You'll support clients across a range of presenting concerns, including mood disorders, perfectionism, imposter syndrome, work or school stress, and life transitions.
