Algorithm Engineer (Machine Learning)

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve machine learning models for recommendation, matching, and growth-related use cases.
• Analyze data and identify opportunities to enhance product performance and user experience.
• Build and deploy machine learning models, from data processing and feature engineering to monitoring and optimization.
• Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Business teams to solve real-world problems using data and AI.
• Research and apply the latest machine learning techniques to drive innovation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in Machine Learning, Recommendation Systems, Search, Advertising, or related areas.
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with machine learning/deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Good understanding of machine learning fundamentals and data-driven problem solving.
• Strong analytical thinking, communication skills, and ability to work across teams.
• Passion for AI, algorithms, and building impactful products.
• Preferred
• Experience with Recommendation Systems, Search Ranking, Advertising Algorithms, or Marketplace Matching.
• Familiarity with Reinforcement Learning, Time Series Forecasting, Optimization, or Causal Inference.
• Experience conducting A/B testing and deploying models into production.
