- EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- A high school diploma or GED is required. An Associate's degree in a technical field is preferred but not required.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills is expected.
- Previous pipeline experience with emphasis on mechanical aptitude is highly preferred.
- Must be able to pass drug and background check.

MPL Mechanical Technician - Texas City Docks and NGL Complex POSITION OVERVIEW: The Mechanical Technician position is based at Marathon Pipe Line's Docks and NGL Complex in Texas City, TX. This role works in and around LPG and products facilities executing Maintenance and Reliability activities, as well as provides field support to various other processes and departments. The candidate should have the ability to troubleshoot problems, work independently and also in a team environment. Travel, call-outs and overtime will be required on an as-needed basis. The successful candidate is required to live within 45 minutes of the reporting location in Texas City, TX.
