JOB DESCRIPTION Crime Stories is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Producer to join our production team in New York. This role must have an excellent understanding of the talent's vision and have deep knowledge of crime news and the most well known crime stories. The ideal candidate is highly organized, tech-savvy, and thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. As a Producer, you will be involved in all aspects of daily show production. The job will also includes gathering elements, editing sound for the show and doing full show edits as well as creating open animations and specials in addition to delivering the show on multiple platforms. This position requires excellent communication and team unifying skills, strong editorial and legal judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Daily Production & Editorial Support Support the host and editorial team in all aspects of daily show production Work closely with the entire production team to execute the editorial vision of the program Gather all elements, pictures, video and sound for the show. Monitor breaking news and developing crime stories relevant to the show Editing Proficiency with video editing software Premiere Pro Skilled in post production management Skilled in creating promo and social media material Creating open animations and title sequences Produce and edit best of show episodes from existing show materials Solid background in media management and organizing video files A strong eye for detail and creativity, the ability to be flexible and work under pressure with tight daily deadlines Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members Have excellent working knowledge of crime news content Sequence segments into a creative and logical narrative. Add graphics, special effects, and visual elements to match the hosts conversation
