Join our new Team and advance your career as a Senior Network Planner The Senior Network Planner (SNP) is responsible for running Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) analysis and preparing associated documentation (including Authority to Negotiate (AtN), Execute Financial Memorandum (EFM), and Decision Support Packs (DSP)) so as to analyse the commercial and strategic merits of bp business cases, and present clear recommendations to leadership. Together, these activities are termed the Capital Value Process (CVP) and Economic Evaluation Methodology (EEM) in bp. The SNP runs not only the mechanical aspects of EEM (i.e. the spreadsheets and paperwork) but also provides guidance and constructive challenge to ensure the assumptions within are as accurate as possible. The SNP will also support the local team in development of their Network Strategy (i.e. assessing which sites to buy, sell, or convert; where and when), as well as any other local Network-related DCFs as required. In this role You will: Running DCF analysis and preparing associated EEM documentation (incl. AtNs, EFMs, and DSPs) so as to analyse the commercial and strategic merits of bp cases, and present clear recommendations to leadership Managing local, regional, and global relationships with all relevant collaborators (including Ops, Pricing, Finance, Legal, Tax, Supply, Strategy etc.) in support of the above Ensuring completion of related Assurance processes (i.e. the Functional Assurance Checklist (FAC)) Coordination and alignment with Local Finance re. updating business forecasts Analysing macro/micro data, competitor strategies, and trading envelopes, as required to aid investment decisions Coordinating Post-Project Evaluations (PPEs) Line Managing the Germany Network Planner (NP) What You will need to be successful: Degree-level qualification (preferably in a numeric field such as Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Science etc.) Fluency in German and English Highly skilled in discounted cash flow economical modelling Team-leadership experience Significant fuels retail experience ( Combi of Finance, Assets, Convenience and/ or Operations) Retail Country market knowledge (including competition) Project Management experience Critical Thinking Performance Driven attitude Communication At bp, we provide the following environment & benefits to you: Different bonus opportunities based on performance, wide range of cafeteria elements Life & health insurance, medical care package Hybrid working arrangement aligned with team arrangements and business needs Opportunity to build up long term career path and develop your skills with wide range of learning options Celebrate in bp's success.
