DSP Day Program HIRING EVENT - Queens

Responsibilities

• Work with participants by assisting them to learn and develop social skills, daily living skills and habits.
• Accompany participants to appointments, community outings, and other activities.
• Complete progress notes and make entries into the daily log book.
• Personal and/or Professional experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
• Drivers License for more than one year in good standing preferred
• Ability to communicate both orally and in written form in English.
• Knowledge of Home and Community Based Waiver, and the ability to keep up to date pertaining to such knowledge, and interpret same.
• Understanding of Person Centered Planning.
• Ability to establish and maintain a working relationship with program participants, families, staff and community agencies.
• High School diploma or GED is required.

DATE & TIME : WEDNESDAY JUNE 17TH from 2PM - 4PM LOCATION : Recruiter will provide specific address for qualified candidates. PER-DIEM POSITIONS: Pay Rate: $20 per hour....No Benefits.
