About the role

Location: Leeds - Main Campus Contract type: Fixed term (Available to 30 th September 2027 to complete a specific task or time limited work, including the need for specific expertise or additional resource for a project.) This role will be based on the university campus, with regular data collection and project activity required across West Yorkshire and neighbouring regions. The St Gemma's Academic Unit of Palliative Care within the Division of Primary Care, Palliative Care, and Preventive Medicine, is part of a consortium to deliver AI4HOPE (Artificial Intelligence-based Health, Optimism, Purpose, and Endurance in Palliative Care for Dementia) through European Commission funding under the Horizon Europe Programme. This four-year study has been developing and testing artificial intelligence-based digital health interventions for dementia care to support advance care planning and multisensory-based emotion regulation. You will contribute to all aspects of the project delivery as required. The main roles will include assisting in facilitating and supporting participant recruitment and involvement to pilot studies of artificial intelligence-based digital health interventions and supporting the collection and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data that will include the consenting and assessment of people living with dementia. As you will work closely and interactively within a Europe-wide collaborative project, you will also need excellent communication skills.
