Auto Bodytech is an award winning, family run accident repair and vehicle maintenance centre based near Stroud. Since 1987, we've built our reputation as trusted independent specialists, combining cutting edge diagnostic tools with a small, friendly team who take pride in the quality of their work. Accredited to BS 10125, and with RAC and Aries approvals, we handle everything from diagnostics to body repairs with precision and pride. We're also approved by major insurers and have repair contracts with several emergency service fleets. Please note the company does not offer sponsorship and therefore candidates must have the legal right to live and work in the UK to be considered for this role. We are looking to recruit an ambitious, smart and motivated individual to work at our Stroud premises as a Panel Beater.

Responsibilities

• Undertake structural and cosmetic panel repairs on all makes of vehicles
• Replace, repair, and align panels according to manufacturer specifications
• Stay updated with the latest repair methods, tools, and equipment to uphold BS 10125 quality standards
• Work effectively as a part of the team to ensure a smooth day-to-day operation of the business
• About you:
• The Ideal Panel Technician:
• Proven experience as a panel technician in a body shop or accident repair environment (ideally minimum of 3 year's experience)
• Proficiency in MIG/MAG welding and panel repair techniques
• Trained to NVQ 3, IMI accreditation (or capable of passing)
• An ability to demonstrate up to date knowledge and experience of the industry
• Please note that candidates with no relevant experience will not be considered for this role. We are willing however to consider an apprenticeship for the right person who can demonstrate their interest appropriately.
