UI / UX Designer

About the role

We're seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to help refine and create an exceptional user experience for our website and state-of-the-art AI-powered VFX platform, Autodesk Flow Studio (formerly Wonder Studio). Our platform aims to bring blockbuster-level VFX to creators of all levels, with potential applications extending beyond visual effects. As a designer, you will collaborate directly with stakeholders and software development teams to craft a smooth user interface for content creation. You will also have the opportunity to work alongside a diverse range of highly skilled Machine Learning/Computer Vision Engineers and a talented Computer Graphics team.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Founders, product management, software engineering, Machine Learning, and CG teams to organize and deliver innovative solutions for product direction, visuals, and user experience.
• Lead all visual design stages from concept to final delivery.
• Provide creative solutions that offer simplicity and user-friendliness to complex design issues.
• Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
• Conduct user research, persona development, and usability testing to understand user needs and evaluate feedback.
• Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies.

Requirements

• BS/MS in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of proven UI and UX experience.
• Demonstrable UI/UX design skills with a strong portfolio.
• Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps.
• Proficiency in Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, OmniGraffle, and other visual design and wire-framing tools.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping.
• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
• Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders.
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
• Up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, techniques, and technologies.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design methodologies.
