About the role
In this role you will be an integral part of a team who are committed to delivering the highest quality clinical outcomes in a supported environment. You will be responsible for the delivery of the highest standards of care and services. You will be supported by one of the UK's largest private health care groups who will ensure your continuous development and sponsor additional training. You will be supporting the Outpatient Department, assisting with day to day roles, supporting procedures, meeting and greeting patients, completing the necessary documentation and help maintain the smooth running of the department. Duties & Responsibilities: Organize the Outpatient Department workload including charging patients, chaperoning patients when required and dealing with all necessary paperwork. To assist the Registered nurses and consultants in preparing patients for all procedures as necessary. To assist with setting up for clinics as required. To assist in maintaining the tidiness and cleanliness of the department. To help with the maintenance of stock levels in all rooms e.g. linen etc and consumables etc. Respond appropriately to accidents or untoward incidents/occurrences that arise within the unit and provide accurate documentation. To be compliant with all local policies and procedures and to act accordingly. Ensure the safety of patients and staff and ensure that all incidents are reported to the Manager. Ensure that all equipment is used safely and effectively.
