Responsibilities

  • Your Role:
  • The PSA Business Analyst will:
  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of HAS business operations and work with stakeholders to design new processes that achieve strategic goals.
  • Facilitate and participate in meetings with multiple internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, provide ongoing updates, and ensure business needs are met.
  • Lead discussions concerning business requirements with the business and technology teams.
  • Capture business requirements, create business process workflows and translate to technical requirements
  • Identify opportunities to improve enterprise systems and business processes and help drive solutions.
  • Interface with technology providers to address problems and support developing and executing test plans.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing.
  • Must be able to convey requirements to technology staff through process flows, user stories, and use cases.
  • Coordinate with other business analysts and project managers to ensure integration of technical solutions.
  • Establish, maintain, track, and monitor project plans and assignments to ensure that project timelines are followed from conception to delivery.

Requirements

  • A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college and two years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties described above;
  • or 2. High school graduation or equivalent and six years of experience in community work or community centered activities in an area related to the duties as described above;
  • Preferred Skills:
  • 3+ years of experience in gathering requirements, business analysis, use cases and creating functional requirements documents; coordinating and supporting IT business processes; writing test cases/perform functional and acceptance testing.
  • Strong business acumen to quickly learn new business processes and understand how IT needs to support the business in achieving the goals.
  • Desire and capacity to work in a fast paced, multi-faceted and deadline driven environment.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to operate independently within established methodologies, procedures, and guidelines.
