About the role

As an Executive Manager, you will lead, develop and inspire a team, empowering them to deliver exceptional customer experiences and strong lending outcomes. Reporting to the Head of Customer Service Lending - QLD, you will be an integral member of the Leadership Team, responsible for driving performance, building capability and fostering a high-performing culture aligned to our strategic agenda and purpose of building a brighter future for all. More specifically, you will: Lead, motivate and develop a team of leaders and lenders to deliver lending growth and performance outcomes, while maintaining a world-class people and culture experience Drive a high-performance culture through coaching, accountability and continuous development Monitor team and individual performance, providing clear feedback and implementing strategies to lift capability and results Collaborate closely with distribution teams and business partners on cross-BU initiatives that deliver exceptional customer outcomes Leverage your deep understanding of home lending to build strong internal relationships and maximise opportunities to deliver a broad range of solutions Utilise your industry expertise and market knowledge to identify growth opportunities and develop strategies to capitalise on them Act as a key member of the Customer Service Lending Leadership Team within your region and the broader extended leadership team

Requirements

  • Strong leadership experience, with a track record of leading leaders and building high-performing teams
  • Proven front-line and/or lending leadership experience within a customer-focused environment
  • A strong performance track record, with demonstrated success delivering business, customer and people outcomes
  • Deep understanding of the home lending business, including relevant processes, policies and market dynamics
  • The ability to create clarity, empower leaders to exercise sound judgement, take smart risks and remove obstacles to deliver value for customers
  • Exceptional communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills
  • A passion for growing a proprietary lending business
  • An obsession with improving customers' lived experience
