Responsibilities
- Ensure that the site's wastewater treatment plant, ponds, environmental lab, and infrastructure are operated safely, efficiently, and reliably; minimize unplanned downtime and environmental incidents.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; Mechanical or Chemical Engineering preferred.
- 5+ years of operations and/or utility management experience within a multi-unit chemical plant, refinery, or industrial environment is required.
- Strong leadership and customer service skills, with the ability to balance competing priorities while ensuring reliable daily operations and long-term utility strategy.
- Experience as a plant, process, or production engineer in a chemical plant or refinery preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of water-tube, gas-fired boilers and process steam systems, including generation, distribution, and recovery.
- Background in industrial wastewater treatment systems (e.g., clarification, filtration, desalination, biological treatment).
- Experience with industrial electrical distribution systems, including substations, transformers, switches, and motor control systems (preferred).
- 10+ years of supervisory experience managing technical professionals, with working knowledge of environmental regulations (e.g., RCRA, Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, state permitting).
