Foundation Risk Partners , one of the fastest growing insurance brokerage and consulting firms in the US, is adding a Bank Reconciliation & Cash Data Specialist to their team in Destin, FL. The Bank Reconciliation & Cash Data Specialist plays a key role in the Accounting department by managing high volumes of financial data, performing daily cash account reconciliations, entering journal entries, and coordinating banking activities with insurance carriers. This position collaborates closely with internal teams such as Accounts Receivable, Direct Bill, and Vendor Payables to ensure accuracy and efficiency across financial operations. Essential Functions: Support monthly and annual close processes by performing bank reconciliations. Reconcile cash accounts regularly to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements; identify and correct discrepancies as needed. Verify and maintain accurate direct deposit information, making updates when necessary. Collaborate with other accounting teams to ensure smooth financial operations and data integrity. Analyze financial data to ensure completeness and accuracy in reporting. Competencies & Qualifications: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel at an intermediate level. Ability to analyze financial data, identify inconsistencies, and implement effective solutions to ensure accuracy and integrity. Solid understanding of technical accounting principles, financial recordkeeping, and bookkeeping practices. Strong math skills to accurately calculate and verify financial data with minimal errors. Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with colleagues across various departments and levels within the organization. Education & Experience: 2-5 years of experience in general ledger accounting or data processing.
