Our ideal candidate has a history of developing award-winning Environmental Designs and has experience leading a team of designers. We are looking for someone with the ability to generate thoughtful design concepts that translate into compelling branded live experiences. Stage and event experience are a plus for this role. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned. Design immersive, compelling 3D environments to house branded experiences Present concepts to clients and internal stakeholders in a clear and concise manner Immerse yourself in the brand and audience to inspire your design Be responsible, organized and accountable the work of your team Understanding of materials, building techniques and construction drawings Create control packages for estimation Understand how to work within budgets and regulations Ability to lead and mentor a team Communicate feedback to team members in a constructive fashion Collaborate within the Creative department and across the organization Communicate with clarity, confidence, competence, professionalism and authenticity Stay current with design trends and apply them to your work where relevant SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES Directly supervises 1-5 non-supervisory employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
