Responsibilities
- Teaching and Learning
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that follow the centre's curriculum framework.
- Observe and record children's learning progress to support their individual development.
- Create hands-on, play-based activities that make learning enjoyable and relevant.
- Care and Classroom Management
- Maintain a safe, clean, and positive environment where children feel secure and supported.
- Guide children gently in routines, social skills, and self-help habits.
- Set up displays and resources that encourage curiosity and pride in learning.
- Teamwork and Parent Partnership
- Communicate regularly with parents to build trust and involve them in their child's learning.
- Work closely with fellow educators to plan lessons, events, and school celebrations.
- Uphold the centre's values of respect, care, and teamwork in all interactions.
Requirements
- ECDA-certified (ACEY, L1 or L2)
- Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education (Teaching) or equivalent
- At least 1 year of teaching experience preferred
- Good communication and classroom management skills
- Warm, responsible, and enjoys working with young children
- Able to work independently and in a team
- Basic computer literacy is an advantage
