Responsibilities
- Health & Safety Administration
- Maintain and update all H&S documentation, including training records and incident logs.
- Manage the central H&S filing system (digital and physical), ensuring documents are current, accessible, and audit‑ready.
- Track expiry dates for mandatory training (Manual Handling, Fire Safety, First Aid, Chemical Handling, etc.) and coordinate renewals.
- Incident & Risk Management

- Follow up with site managers to ensure corrective actions are completed and recorded.
- Compliance & Audit Support
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Track statutory inspections (fire equipment, racking, lifting equipment etc.) and ensure documentation is filed.
- Support the preparation of regulatory submissions and compliance documentation.
- Training & Communication
- Prepare training attendance sheets, and certificates.
- Circulate safety alerts, updates, and communications to relevant teams.
- Support onboarding by ensuring new starters receive required H&S induction.
- Operational Support
- Assist the H&S team with site walk‑throughs, inspections, and follow‑up actions.
- Coordinate PPE requests, stock levels, and distribution to staff.
- Support ergonomic assessments, workstation reviews, and DSE compliance.
- Skills & Experience Required
- Essential
- 1-2 years experience in an administrative role, ideally within Health & Safety or Operations.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and comfortable with digital record‑keeping systems.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross‑functional teams.
