Responsibilities
- Assists in the development and implementation of the MLB global marketing strategy and related campaigns
- Supports the global marketing team with project management tasks
- Prepares marketing activity reports and metrics for measuring project success
- Identifies local market trends and global research markets consumers, competitors, and market environment based on information from external partners and research tools
- Works closely with the marketing groups within MLB's four international offices to implement and support MLB brand strategy
- Builds and maintains departmental global marketing calendars
- Tracks marketing campaigns and results
- Works with vendors on the production and execution of marketing initiatives
- Represent global marketing strategy and regional offices at cross department marketing initiative meetings
- In conjunction with Club Marketing, presents opportunities for content creators and regional social media teams to visit MLB ballparks for marketing purposes
- Contributes to improvements to the internal processes to streamline efforts and ensure all timelines and deadlines are met
- Qualifications & Skills
- 4 year degree from an accredited university in marketing, advertising, communications, business, or related field, OR equivalent relevant experience
- Demonstrated experience with data reasoning and analysis
- Demonstrated interest in brand strategy, brand marketing activation
- Pay Rate Stipend: $2,700 - $3,150 Bi-weekly
