Assistant Coach, Women's Tennis

Responsibilities

• The Assistant Coach has significant responsibility in (but not limited to) these areas: mentoring assistant coach(es) and staff; input on scheduling and team travel logistics; promotion of the team and University; fundraising, community service and alumni events; and professional development.
• Assist the Head Coach in leading and managing administration, logistics, support staff and business functions, including budgeting, of the Tennis program as needed.
• Other related functions as assigned.

International and national travel is required. This position is not suitable for remote work and regular, on-site hours are required. Assistant or Associate Coach position may be offered dependent on candidate qualifications and experience. This position is designated as an Administrative Officer and serves without a fixed term and at the pleasure of the President, pursuant to Regents Rule 20102 and the University's Handbook of Operating Procedures 1-1020, "Officers of Administration." Purpose The Assistant Coach will support the comprehensive development and competitive success of a Division I athletics program by assisting in the planning, coordination, and execution of training and competition strategies. This role is dedicated to fostering student-athlete growth in alignment with the university's academic and athletic standards, and works collaboratively with the head coach, assistant coaches and athletics staff to recruit and mentor elite student-athletes.
