Therapy Aide

Requirements

• Certificate / Diploma / Degree in Relevant certification or qualification in therapy services, therapy support, community care and services, or any related fields.
• 1 -2 years of related experience.
• A team player and able to organize and execute programs.
• Ability to work under pressure, while maintaining a positive and courteous attitude and providing exemplary resident care.
• Be prepared to perform other duties as assigned.

Duties & Responsibilities Assist in conducting activities or adjust activities programmed by the therapist. Assist in carrying out habilitative and rehabilitative work-orientated programs based on assessment and instructions of the PT/OT. Ensure the safety and security of residents during sessions. Prepare regular reports to update the therapist and Nursing Manager on the functional status of residents. Ensure safe usage of the equipment by residents and restrict the use of damaged equipment. Provide feedback on facilities in the Home that need to be altered for use by residents or that affect the safety of the residents. Prepare feedback, wherever necessary, to external agencies /therapists on individual resident functional progress in the Home.
