Night Shift - 7.5 Hours (United States of America) Responsibilities: - Set up, calibrate, and operate video EEG equipment for routine and long-term monitoring. - Apply electrodes using the International 10-20 System and other applicable methods. - Ensure synchronized high-quality video and EEG recordings. - Monitor patients in real-time for clinical events and safety concerns. - Annotate events (seizures, behaviors, artifacts) during recording. - Maintain clear and accurate documentation in medical records and EEG systems. - Work closely with neurologists, nursing staff, and epilepsy teams for optimal patient care. - Provide technical support during intracranial monitoring, when applicable. - Recognize and respond to patient emergencies or complications during monitoring. - Follow infection control and patient privacy protocols. - Perform routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. - Participate in quality assurance and continuing education activities. Required Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in a health science field preferred. - Completion of an accredited Neurodiagnostic Technology program preferred. - 1-2 years of EEG or neurodiagnostic experience, including video EEG monitoring. - Knowledge of neurological disorders, especially epilepsy and seizure activity. - Proficient in EEG software and video systems (e.g. Natus). - Strong attention to detail and ability to recognize abnormal patterns or patient behaviors.
