Summary of the Role The Senior Sales Specialist is responsible for leading strategic sales and clinical initiatives to drive business growth for TIS products in a defined region. This includes cultivating strategic customer relationships, expanding market share, mentoring junior team members, and contributing to cross-functional collaboration to support company goals. The role also involves advanced clinical knowledge, thought leadership, and execution of commercial strategies to maximize territory performance. Key Functions / Responsibilities Lead and execute strategic sales initiatives to exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue and unit targets aligned with company objectives. Expand market presence by identifying high-value opportunities and converting competitive accounts through evidence-based, value-driven selling strategies. Serve as a trusted advisor to KOLs and key stakeholders, delivering differentiated Terumo messaging based on clinical evidence and economic value. Provide advanced product education, hands-on training, and support during product launches and clinical programs. Mentor new team members in field competencies. Develop and execute territory plans using customer insights, market dynamics, and business intelligence to prioritize resources effectively. Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Medical Affairs, SCM, and Regulatory teams to implement local market strategies and drive therapy development initiatives. Lead complex case support including troubleshooting and therapy optimization to support superior patient outcomes. Drive Voice of Customer (VoC) initiatives to improve product feedback, customer satisfaction, and service excellence. Support and contribute to tender, pricing, and reimbursement discussions when necessary. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, or complex cases in collaboration with technical, clinical, or regulatory personnel to ensure resolution. Act as a field mentor to Sales Specialists, providing guidance, coaching, and best-practice sharing across the sales team. Functional / Technical Skills Advanced sales acumen with strong strategic and solution-selling skills in the interventional field. Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and mentoring capability. Strong communication and negotiation skills, with proven ability to influence internal and external stakeholders. Advanced product and procedural knowledge with clinical credibility in interventional therapies. Proficient in data analysis, territory planning, and sales forecasting. High agility and adaptability to changing market environments and customer needs. Strong cross-functional collaboration, project ownership, and initiative. Digital proficiency in CRM systems and sales productivity tools. Education & Experience Bachelor's degree or higher in healthcare, life sciences, or a related field. Minimum 8+ years of successful sales experience in the medical device or interventional cardiology/radiology field. Track record of consistent quota achievement and strategic account development. Experience working with KOLs, academic societies, or national institutions is strongly preferred. Fluent in English and Korean (written and spoken). Strong business mindset with a customer-first approach.
