About the role

This position will be responsible for monitoring and controlling materials and inventory management activities to support BW Energy offshore operations. The role involves tracking inbound and outbound material movements within the ERP system, ensuring proper storage, preservation, and traceability, and coordinating mobilization between shore base facilities and offshore assets. Additionally, the analyst will perform physical inventories, maintain performance indicators, and interface across teams to optimize inventory accuracy and logistics flows. Responsibilities: Responsible for monitoring and controlling materials and inventory management activities required to support BW Energy offshore operations. Monitor and control inbound and outbound material movements, ensuring proper transaction recording and integrity of information within the ERP system. Monitor receiving, storage, preservation, staging and dispatching activities for materials and equipment. Monitor inventory levels and material availability, supporting replenishment planning and operational requirements. Follow up mobilization and demobilization activities of materials and equipment between shore base facilities, vessels and offshore assets. Ensure proper identification, preservation, traceability and readiness of materials for transportation and offshore utilization. Monitor requests for shipment of materials and equipment, ensuring compliance with operational requirements and logistics schedules. Perform and follow up physical inventories, cycle counts and stock reconciliations, investigating discrepancies and supporting corrective actions when required. Monitor performance indicators related to materials and inventory management, including inventory accuracy, material availability and stock discrepancies. Support the management of critical spare parts and operational materials required by Production, Drilling, Subsea and Projects teams. Develop and maintain reports, controls and performance indicators related to materials and inventory management. Ensure proper interface between Logistics, Operations, Supply Chain, Shore base activities and offshore units regarding materials management. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to materials management processes, inventory control and logistics flows. Support audits, inspections and compliance activities related to materials and inventory management. Ensure that relevant requirements of the Management System are used as the terms of reference for the activities controlled. Undertake training relevant to the position requirements. On-the-job training of colleagues and trainees. Assist in any other work specified by Department Head. Education: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field is desirable. Experience: Relevant experience in materials management, inventory control, logistics or a similar position. Previous work in a multinational oil company is desirable. Knowledge: Knowledge of materials management and inventory control processes. Knowledge of warehousing and logistics operations. Knowledge of ERP systems and inventory transactions. Knowledge of performance indicators related to materials and inventory management. Experience with ERP systems and materials management processes, preferably IFS or equivalent systems. Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge. Advanced English communication skills, including reading, writing and conversation.
