Job Title Night shift Duty Officer Line Manager Operations Manager Department Operations Location SINGAPORE Direct Reports Operations Supervisor Conditions 3 nights on 3 nights off Key Relationships External Customers & Suppliers Internal Warehouse, Operations & Transport Team Purpose To work within Operations team, to ensure the smooth running of all aspect of operations, whilst providing excellent customer service at all times. Main Role Accountabilities 1. General Duties - Customer Service, attending calls and promptly response E-mails correspondence - Booking, Execution of awb and declaring Tradnet permits - Responsible for all import & export shipments. - Able to expedite on AOG (Aircraft on ground) shipments process - Able to handle Logistics & 3rd party Inventory shipments - Ensure the shipment are done in accordance with requirements and expected schedule. - Updating shipment status on In-house Online Tracking system. - Respond to operational staff/customer queries. - Deal with Inventory requirements, logging incoming and outgoing shipments that are stored in our warehouse. - Maintain and share with colleagues as appropriate, personal knowledge of all relevant transport laws and procedures and restrictions. - Liaise with Operations Supervisor to identify any changes in work instructions and/or processes where appropriate, thus providing reliant handling of Cargo/Goods. - To undertake duties in accordance with defined processes and work instructions. 2. Customer Focus - Be polite and respond positively at all times to customers/colleagues. - Respond to operational staff/customer queries. - Wear your company identity card at all times. 3. Personal Compliance/Health & Safety - Adhere to health and safety policy, and other requirements relating to the care of equipment. - Be aware of the standards expected in respect of the job, attendance, timekeeping and behaviour and the standards set out in the handbook and the HR Policy Manual. - Adhere to the company Health and Safety Policy, Dress Code policy. - Make sure you understand and adhere to any existing policy changes or any new policies. 4. Personal Development - Complete annual appraisals in line with B&H standards with the Line Manager. - Ensure all mandatory training is completed within the required time frames and refresher courses are completed prior to the expiry date. Personal Attributes - Customer focussed, Flexible, Attention to detail Key Skills and Attributes - Work pro-actively using own initiative. Proven communication skills both written and verbal. - Computer literate Qualifications and Experience - Experience at least 2 years in Export or Import Airfreight operations. - Shift Duty every 3 days 7pm to 7am then 3 days off shift
