About the role

Reporting to the FM Director, you will lead a geographically dispersed team to deliver consistent, high-quality project outcomes across a range of client accounts. Leadership & Strategy Champion and embed a Zero Harm culture across all projects and teams Lead the development and execution of integrated Projects & FM operating models Contribute to and deliver against national, regional, and global business performance objectives Establish and lead a centralized Projects & FM Centre of Excellence Project & Operational Delivery Oversee a national Projects portfolio ensuring quality, cost control, and ROI outcomes Provide integrated project management and technical expertise across IFMS contracts Standardize and optimize project delivery frameworks, processes, and tools Ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and FM licensing requirements across Australia People Leadership Lead a team of 4 direct reports and ~80 indirect reports Coach, mentor, and develop high-performing teams with strong succession planning Drive capability uplift across project and operational teams Client & Stakeholder Management Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders Actively support business development, tenders, and growth initiatives Deliver consultancy-led solutions that simplify and improve FM operational outcomes Commercial Performance Own financial outcomes with strong focus on P&L performance, cost management, and profitability Support sales growth through bid development, pricing strategy, and solution design Partner with Supply Chain to ensure compliant, high-value subcontractor arrangements You are a seasoned Projects leader with strong Facilities Management experience and the ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels. Essential Experience & Capability Minimum 10+ years' experience in Projects and/or Facilities Management leadership roles Proven track record managing large-scale project portfolios and high-performing teams Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated P&L responsibility Experience in tendering, bid preparation, and business development Deep understanding of FM service delivery models and integrated solutions Leadership & Personal Attributes Unwavering commitment to Zero Harm and safety leadership Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing capability Strong business case development and executive communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment High integrity, professionalism, and alignment with corporate governance standards Lead a national, high-value portfolio with significant strategic impact Be part of a business committed to innovation, safety, and operational excellence Shape the future of integrated FM and project delivery across Australia Work alongside industry leaders in a collaborative, high-performance culture
