This role will provide high-level administrative, operational, and client service support to the Tax Lead for the Minneapolis office. Serve as a key point of contact for clients, client support teams, internal team members, and other stakeholders on behalf of the partner. Manage the partner's calendar, including coordinating meetings with clients, internal staff, and firm leadership. Support new client onboarding activities to help ensure a smooth and professional client experience. Manage and track engagement letters and related workflow activity, including follow-up with the partner, clients, and internal teams as needed. Coordinate tax return delivery processes, including final delivery, tracking signed Forms 8879, and monitoring outstanding client items. Assist with invoicing and accounts receivable follow-up, escalating items to the partner when appropriate. Track client project deadlines, tax return deliverables, and key follow-up items to help ensure work moves forward efficiently. Communicate professionally and proactively with clients and internal teams regarding deadlines, documentation, deliverables, and next steps. Build strong working relationships with the client service team, local office colleagues, and other Support Specialists across the firm. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, workflow, communication, and use of internal systems. Assist with ad hoc reports, office initiatives, events, and special projects as needed. Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound professional judgment when handling client, partner, and firm information.
