About the role
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY GENERAL ENGINEER in the Systems Engineering Department and Combat Survivability Division of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV. The incumbent will serve as first line supervisor for branch employees and provide technical leadership of the branch activities. The duty location of this position is Patuxent River, MD. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-12) grade level or pay band (NM-03) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing authoritative systems engineering or senior-level engineering technical domain input and advice to systems engineers and to the program management leadership; 2) Leading the development and incorporation of systems engineering work products or technical domain work products required to satisfy, complement and inform system acquisition program management process milestones, artifacts, strategic planning, risk characterization and decision making on major weapon systems; 3) Incorporating and using various and broad resources to support engineering development, planning and testing for assigned systems; and 4) Leading engineering, technical, acquisition, and sustainment support personnel and teams.
