Support oversight of the learning and working environment - resident well-being, supervision, clinical experience and education (duty-hour) limits, and a safe environment to report concerns. Work closely with program directors and coordinators on accreditation tasks, citations, and corrective action plans. Help maintain relationships and documentation with participating sites (affiliation agreements and program letters of agreement). Act on behalf of the DIO on delegated matters and serve as backup when the DIO is unavailable. Help prepare reports to the DIO and governing body on the status of GME programs and trainees. MD, DO, or equivalent (PhD or senior academic/administrative leadership considered for the right candidate). Experience in graduate medical education - as a program director, associate program director, GME administrator, or in a similar role. Working knowledge of ACGME accreditation: the Institutional Requirements, Common Program Requirements, the GMEC, and the AIR. Strong administrative, organizational, and interpersonal skills; able to work effectively with faculty, trainees, and leadership. Preferred Prior experience as an Assistant/Associate DIO or in senior GME administration. Experience supporting new program applications or guiding programs through initial or continued accreditation.
