Job Description General Teaching Scope Able to teach one to one and in a group environment in the Music School Able to manage young children in class size of 5 to 10 children from ages of 2 years to 15 years' old Delivering engaging and interactive music lessons, including private one-on-one lessons and group classes Developing customised lesson plans and teaching materials to cater to the individual needs and learning styles of each student Monitoring student progress and providing regular feedback to help them achieve their musical goals Collaborating with the wider team to organise and participate in musical performances, recitals, and other events Maintaining a safe and well-equipped learning environment for students Actively contributing to the continuous improvement of the music education programme Complete evaluation reports for all students quarterly/half yearly and attend parent/teacher meetings as required Competencies Bachelor's degree or equivalent in music or a related field Minimum 2 years of experience teaching music to students of all ages and skill levels Demonstrated ability to teach in one to one and class setting Proficiency in playing at least one musical instrument, with the ability to teach a variety of instruments Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students Strong organisational and time management skills to effectively manage a diverse student roster Passion for music education and a commitment to helping students reach their full potential Possess basic Microsoft Office skills Communication Skills
