Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions: Process complex payroll transactions accurately and timely. Audit payroll data to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations. Address payroll-related queries from employees and resolve issues promptly and professionally. Review employee payroll records for changes to ensure compliance with payroll regulations. Assist in financial reporting by preparing and distributing payroll reports as needed. Collaborate with HR and other departments to ensure seamless integration of payroll data. Collaborate with payroll team and other departments to resolve payroll issues and discrepancies. Stay up to date with relevant laws and regulations related to payroll processing and compliance. Assist in preparing payroll-related documentation for audits. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance. Proficiency in Excel and other payroll related tools. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to multi-task and move from task to task seamlessly. EDUCATION: High school diploma required. WORK EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATION: 4-5 years experience in payroll processing. CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES: Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or similar certification preferred. WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Professional setting Continuous sitting Continuous oral & written communication and listening skills. Continuous computer use Occasional bending, kneeling, lifting, pulling & pushing up to 10 pounds. Job requires a high level of mental awareness. PRIMARY LOCATION: Lafayette, LA : Corporate Office #LI-PM1 Pay Range: 42,784.00 - 58,816.00 USD annually This range represents the anticipated base salary for this role.
