Specialty Pharmacy Liaison / Pharmacy Technician

Responsibilities

• Manage patient relationships as the single point of contact for specialty pharmacy services
• Support patients with refills, medication adherence, and ongoing therapy management
• Coordinate drug delivery logistics to ensure timely access to medications
• Identify and resolve insurance, prior authorization, and copay challenges
• Monitor adherence and proactively intervene to improve patient outcomes
• Collaborate across the care continuum with clinical pharmacists, providers, and clinic staff
• Ensure patient concerns are resolved quickly through cross-functional coordination

Requirements

• Education & Experience
• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• 2-5 years of Pharmacy Technician experience (required)
• 5-8 years preferred , especially in specialty pharmacy or clinical settings
• Licensure & Certification
• Active State Pharmacy Technician Registration (required)
• CPhT certification preferred
• Key Skills
• Strong interpersonal and patient communication skills
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment
• Excellent organizational and administrative capabilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
• Ability to quickly learn new systems and extract relevant data
