Grade Level (for internal use): 08 The Team: The Transcripts APAC (Mandarin) team is at the forefront of revolutionizing how critical financial information, specifically Mandarin-based conference call transcripts, is processed and delivered to S&P Global clients . Leveraging advanced speech recognition and editing tools, this team ensures real-time, high-quality output, playing a pivotal role in delivering essential insights to the global market . Responsibilities and Impact: - Primarily responsible for the collection and high-quality conversion of Mandarin financial reports into English transcription documents, ensuring timely delivery . - Independently manage projects and workflows, consistently delivering high-quality outputs within established deadlines . - Conduct in-depth data analysis for allocated projects, driving workflow and procedure improvements through findings and stakeholder engagement . - Actively troubleshoot issues, provide effective team support, and contribute to the development of country-specific policies . - Proactively identify and propose new projects, automation opportunities, and policy enhancements to foster continuous improvement . - All employees are required to work from the office a minimum of 2 days per week .

Requirements

  • Basic Required Qualifications:
  • Proficiency or native competency in Chinese (Mandarin) and English .
  • Proven analytical mindset with strong logical reasoning abilities .
  • We require all external candidates who reach the final stage of our interview process to attend at least one in-person interview, which is ordinarily at your nearest S&P Global office. This must be completed before we can proceed to an offer .
  • Additional Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in transcription, translation, or localization is a distinct advantage .
