Who we're looking for We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Senior Productivity Security Engineer to serve as a key technical lead and trusted right-hand partner to the National Manager of Productivity Security. This role will help drive the security strategy, engineering execution, and operational maturity of modern workforce technologies, including AI-driven productivity platforms, enterprise APIs, endpoint applications, browsers, and mobile environments. The ideal candidate is both strategic and hands-on - capable of translating security vision into scalable engineering outcomes while partnering cross-functionally with workplace technology, cloud, engineering, product, and governance teams. This individual will act as a senior technical advisor, lead complex initiatives, mentor junior engineers, and help operationalize secure-by-design productivity technologies across the enterprise.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a senior technical lead and strategic partner to the National Manager of Productivity Security, helping drive execution, prioritization, and operational maturity across the program.
  • Lead the engineering and implementation of security controls supporting AI-enabled productivity platforms, enterprise APIs, endpoint applications, browsers, and mobile technologies.
  • Help design and operationalize secure AI usage patterns, including prompt protection, data leakage prevention, identity-aware access controls, workload isolation, and governance guardrails.
  • Drive endpoint and browser security initiatives across managed devices, including application allow listing, endpoint privilege management, browser hardening, secure configuration baselines, and runtime protections.
  • Support mobile security engineering efforts, including MDM/MAM integrations, mobile application protections, conditional access enforcement, and secure data handling controls.
  • Partner closely with workplace technology, cloud, product, and engineering teams to embed security into productivity platforms and workflows by design.
  • Conduct threat modeling, risk assessments, control reviews, and technical security evaluations across AI workflows, APIs, endpoint applications, and mobile ecosystems.
  • Assist with the development and enforcement of security standards, engineering guardrails, implementation patterns, and operational procedures related to AI, APIs, endpoints, and productivity tooling.
  • Investigate emerging threats, misuse patterns, and attack techniques impacting AI systems, workforce productivity technologies, and modern collaboration platforms.
  • Contribute to roadmap planning, architecture reviews, incident response support, metrics development, and executive-level reporting on security posture and residual risk.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers while helping establish engineering best practices, documentation standards, and repeatable operational processes.
  • Act as a technical escalation point and provide leadership continuity in support of the manager and broader Productivity Security function.
  • What you bring
  • 10+ years of experience in IT engineering with 2-3 years of cybersecurity specific engineering.
  • Hands-on experience across one or more domains including endpoint security, AI security, API security, cloud security, application security, DLP, vulnerability management, or security operations.
  • Technical understanding of AI security concepts, including prompt injection risks, data exposure pathways, model misuse, identity and access control considerations, and AI governance principles.
  • Hands-on experience securing endpoint applications and browsers, including application control, endpoint privilege management, browser security, device hardening, and user activity protections.
  • Familiarity with enterprise mobile security architectures, including MDM/MAM, mobile application protection policies, and secure mobile data handling.
