Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite technical supervision of the subcontractor workforce and to control and direct all field and construction management activities.
  • Supervise the timely and cost-effective installation of contracted work.
  • Develop a plan for sequence of work and project schedule with the lead Project Manager and scheduling team.
  • Support the Project Manager in the development of logistics plans and schedules during pre-construction and early project activities.
  • Provide ongoing project status updates to all stakeholders as required throughout design and construction.
  • Provide project reports, documentation, technical assistance, support, and collaboration.
  • Develop comprehensive understanding of owner contract, subcontracts, and purchase orders.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety, industry, trade, and federal/local jurisdictional standards, practices, codes.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or the equivalent is required.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years' experience in construction with at least five (5) years of experience in commercial or government construction industry as a site superintendent or a similar role.
  • Additional Qualifications:
  • In-depth knowledge of the construction process including scheduling, contract administration, equipment, and manpower.
  • MEP experience with increasing levels of responsibility
  • Demonstrated ability to lead field operations.
  • Knowledge and experience with performing Quality Control management
  • Strong verbal, written, computer, technical communication and presentation skills.
  • Computer software proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Experience using Procore or similar project management software.
  • Proven experience with OSHA safety standards, building systems, engineering, and project management regulations, practices, and codes.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and foster positive business relationships.
  • Ability to review confidential US security information.
  • Current First Aid/CPR certification.
  • OSHA 30-hour Certification.
  • Certification in, or familiarity with, EM-385-1-1.
  • QC/QA USACE or NAVFAC Certifications is preferred.
