About the role

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST (PLCYPLN/INFOSEC) in the COMMAND INFORMATION OFFICE (CIO) of NAV FACILITIES ENGINEERING COMMAND SE. I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: 1) Developing and interpreting policies, procedures, and strategies governing the planning and delivery of Information Technology services; 2) Assessing the effectiveness of new or evolving IT security concepts, standards, and methods; 3) Interpreting cyber security mandates and directives to determine impact on programs, to include acquisition, implementation, coordination, and management activities; 4) Providing guidance to leadership, operational staff, and customers that enables a secure and available IT infrastructure and Information Management and Information Technology (IM/IT) capabilities; and 5) Ensuring the integration of IT programs and services for compliance to IT policies and procedures.
