Generally, this would include one year or more of such specialized experience. Specialized experience for this position includes: Experience evaluating and analyzing facility operations and space management, with a demonstrated ability to develop and revise equipment maintenance programs and make recommendations for providing the most economical and efficient support services; Experience working independently and developing solutions to complex, sensitive, difficult, and long-standing problems that are not subject to treatment by commonly used methods; Experience developing and presenting information in narrative and/or statistical formats to individuals and/or groups; Experience effectively prioritizing and balancing the workload of the team and providing guidance to team members regarding deadlines, interpretation, and application of policies and guidelines. Specifically you will be evaluated on the following competencies: 1.Contracting & Procurement Knowledge of various types of contracts, techniques or requirements (for example, Federal Acquisitions Regulations) for contracting or procurement, and contract negotiation and administration. 2.Building & Construction Knowledge of materials, methods, and the appropriate tools to construct objects, structures, and buildings. 3.Problem Solving Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. 4. Oral Communication Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. 5.
