Responsibilities
- Placement Execution & Delivery
- Lead and oversee end-to-end placement of facultative risks and facility business across multiple lines (Property, Casualty, Specialty as relevant)

- Act as a subject matter expert on facultative and facility placement best practices
- Stakeholder Management (Internal & Market)
- Partner closely with client-facing brokers to support deal execution
- Maintain strong relationships with reinsurers across Asia and global markets
- Coordinate with global placement teams to leverage broader market access and capabilities
- Act as a key escalation point for complex or challenged placements
- Process Optimisation & Governance
- Drive operational efficiency and standardisation across placement processes
- Enhance internal workflows, systems usage, and documentation standards
- Ensure adherence to compliance, audit, and regulatory frameworks in Singapore and across jurisdictions
- Contribute to strategic initiatives to strengthen Singapore as a regional placement hub
- Business Development
- Originate and develop new facultative & facility opportunities across Asia through proactive prospecting and leveraging regional networks
- Drive revenue growth by identifying and converting new cedant relationships into consistent business pipelines
- Lead transaction origination and execution for complex facultative placements, from initial pitch through binding
- Develop and execute business development strategies targeting key cedants and priority markets in Hong Kong and Macau
- Expand market share by cross-selling reinsurance solutions tailored to cedant underwriting and capital needs
- Maintain a robust pipeline of new and renewal opportunities, actively managing conversion rates and deal flow
- Key Requirements
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in Fac or Treaty broking, and/or facilities
- Proven track record in executing complex placements across multiple markets
- Strong technical understanding of underwriting, pricing dynamics, reinsurance structures, and reinsurance wordings
- Experience working with regional (APAC) and global reinsurance markets
- Strong attention to detail, with disciplined approach to documentation and governance
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Requirements
- Experience in a leading reinsurance broker or reinsurer
- Familiarity with Singapore regulatory environment and regional market practices
- Exposure to facility structuring and portfolio solutions
- The role requires liaising with Mandarin/Korean/Japanese clients. Knowledge of Mandarin/Korean/Japanese language is essential
