Sr. Maintenance Technician, Mechanical

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experienced in the execution of mechanical maintenance activities.
• Competent at interpreting Engineering Drawings and Documentation.
• Exceptional working knowledge of CMMS systems (SAP or Similar)
• Experience developing and reviewing critical Maintenance procedures.
• Exceptional working knowledge of an MOC process.
• Experience in frontline leadership during Turnarounds.
• Relevant LNG Mechanical Pipefitter maintenance experience including Fabrication and/or repair of piping, etc. using various welding processes as required (SMAW, GTAW, GMAW) Blinding of pipes, vessels, tanks, exchangers, etc. to prepare equipment for operations and maintenance.
• Mechanical LNG experience including Turbo machinery, compressors, loading arms, PSV's, pumps, motors, vessels, valves, actuators, fin fans and flange management a must.
• Computer literate in word processing, spreadsheet, and database applications.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Must have a "hands-on" method of working.
• Participate as a member of the Emergency Response Team (ERT) to support on-site emergencies.
• Ability to get Transportation Worker Identification Credentials (TWIC).

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE The Maintenance Technician, Mechanical, conducts daily mechanical maintenance execution activities, ensuring safe, quality work practices are maintained while maximizing availability of equipment across the facility. The Senior Technician is part of the Mechanical extended leadership team and will have to provide coverage and support to the Supervisor during times of absence or high volume. Job Site Work Environment - Must be able to wear all necessary PPE equipment to perform job functions. - Operates in a complex construction environment. - Exposure to indoor and outdoor weather conditions. - Not necessarily protected from weather and temperature changes. Possible exposure to hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy weather conditions. - Exposure to moving mechanical parts and electrical circuits. - Exposure to constant or intermittent sounds of a pitch level sufficient to cause marked distraction. - Routinely uses standard office and field communications equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers w/scanner and fax, and radios.
